Description:
Global Mining is primarily a gold producer. The company has numerous contractors around the world. There was a request for a simple logo that would be suitable for embossing on a golden bar. The solution is a stylised letter 'G' that stands both for 'Global' and 'Gold'. The M-tiled inner shape of 'G' reminds a bucket-wheel of a mining excavator. On the other hand, the image of the Earth with an enormous global mine inside can be interpreted as the company's ambition to become the world's biggest gold producer.
